The territory of the Maremma is rich of history and culture. Today you can still find this special atmosfere in plenty of the small characteristic villages. On our bikes we are going to explore the most important places such as Vetulonia where we can still find many traces of its history as a mercantile town in Etruscan times. In the area of the Alta Maremma with the famous colline metallifere we find many other small picturesque towns and villages that are less known but nevertheless wonderful to visit, for example Roccatederighi, Sassofortino or Montemassi. Along white streets and country roads surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape we also arrive at the wonderful and world wide known San Galgano Abbey.
For the less trained we recommend the use of an e-bike.
